Adjusting to homeland
oh kay!!
this is officially my first post in my new blog, just to warn y'all this is my first blog so pls, pls be gentle with your judgements! :)
I will mostly love to hear from all you lovely people that took the plung to move back to your country to start a new life, for whatever reason it my be. I for instance moved back to my county Nigeria because i felt i have better opportunities there than in the UK.
Fortunately or UNfortunately, I was able to get a job in a great Advertising agency, the bad side is that I have not served yet!! (crap) Now for you that have no ideas what that means, its an NYSC program that every graduate has to participate in for about a year serving their country, nothig terrible about that but the fact that it's like military!!! (marching under the sun, fetching water, and hicking!) You are made to live in a "camp" for 3 weeks before you are sent to work for companies that pay you peanuts!!! meaning, no matter how intelligent or great an employee you r, you getting paid nothing but an allowance..... sad sad sad!
Now that is my dilema at the moment, i havent started my NYSC meaning i cant get paid like a full time employee....
SO!! my fellow former international students!!! how did you adjust to the NYSC (if you moved back to Nigeria) or others that moved back to China, India or other home country after studying in another man's land are adjusting to the change...
